Alasdair Padman, Former Editor-in-Chief

Alasdair is a senior English, Film and Media double-major who has worked for The Wire since his first year. He has worked as an Arts & Entertainment reporter, news editor and editor in chief. In the summer and academic year of 2018-2019, he also worked as a reporter for the Walla Walla Union-Bulletin. He’s covered and maintained a variety of beats including activism, homelessness, Title IX, mental health/illness and Whitman’s 2021-2022 Financial Sustainability Review. After college, he intends to continue working as a journalist and a writer.
