Whitman Women’s Tennis crushes George Fox, again

The Whitman women’s tennis team blew out George Fox 8-1 on Tuesday afternoon. The two teams played earlier this season on February 21 when Whitman won by the same margin.

The win moves the team to 7-2 in conference and one and a half games ahead of fourth place Lewis & Clark, who they play on Friday, March 13. Whitman is still behind conference-leading Whitworth at 8-0 and Linfield at 7-0. Linfield narrowly defeated Whitman on Friday in McMinnville, Ore.

George Fox, meanwhile dropped to 2-7 in conference and is a half game ahead of Puget Sound for seventh place in the Northwest Conference.
