Seven years ago, the sex workers of Apizaco, Tlaxcala formed the Collective Network of Women in Favor of their Rights (CRMPD). They worked to combat the abuse of clients and police, for their dignity and rights, and for a world without capitalism, the system that leaves them without the ability to chose their work.
Recently, their group was forced to dissolve due to police and state repression.
Here’s to the fallen, let’s hope that they can reform their organization, and keep fighting for a better world.
