Each week The Pioneer highlights a few events happening on campus or in Walla Walla during the weekend. Here are this week’s picks:

“12 Angry Men
Little Theatre of Walla Walla presents their interpretation of the 2005 Desk and Tony Award winner for Best Revival of a Play “12 Angry Men”. The courtroom drama depicts a nearly unanimous jury decision overturned due to one dissenter. Free dress rehearsal Thursday, Feb. 10, 8 p.m. Runs Feb. 11-12, 18-20, 25-26, 8 p.m., 2 p.m. matinee Feb. 20. Adult tickets are $12. 1130 Sumach.

“Black Shawl
Writer and professional actress Sharon French’s dynamic one-woman show, taken from her long running pageant “Anasazi, the Ancient Ones,” explores her relationship with her American Indian ancestry. French speaks in a multitude of perspectives–American Indian and Anglo-American, the dead and the living–in order to portray her complicated relationship with her heritage. Friday, Feb. 11,   7-10 p.m. Maxey Auditorium.

Dragfest: Decades of Drag
Coalition Against Homophobia and ASWC join forces for this year’s gender-bending event. Dress in decade garb of your choice, and dance and defy gender norms in a safe environment. A drag competition will take place at 10:30 p.m. with prizes awarded to the best-dressed students. Friday, Feb. 11, 9 p.m.––midnight. Reid Ballroom.
