Stressed about next week’s election? Join ASWC, Whitman Votes and the Counseling Center staff for their event “Finding Space Amidst the Race: Strategies for Responding to Election-Related Stress” over Zoom from 7 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 2.

“You will learn exercises and strategies that you can then practice on your own,” Whitman Votes President Lucy Montgomery, a senior, said. “While the content of this event is not political, we recognize that this election may be quite challenging for students based on identity, affiliation and intersectionality. Counselors are skilled in working in non-judgmental ways, and content is not focused on any political perspective or group.”

RSVPs are required, and respondents will receive a link to the Zoom meeting before the event. The first 15 people to RSVP and attend the full event will receive $15 of DoorDash delivery credit, Montgomery said.
