It’s that time of the year when you should double-check your car registration … just kidding, it’s Halloween! You may be asking yourself: “What can I dress up as that perfectly displays my humor, intellect, obscure media consumption AND my partner?” Well I have the answer for you. Use one of these recommendations, and your peers will be in awe of your costume! 

1. Sid and Diego from the “Ice Age” franchise. I know what you might be thinking, but let me say why you’re wrong and defend this great idea. First, Sid and Diego are canonically in an ice age; you can dress warm and still be in costume. Second, this is a HIGHLY underutilized reference. You rarely see anyone dressed as an “Ice Age” character. Third, whoever goes as Diego gets to incorporate very long teeth, which could be a great acting challenge (think: the guy from “Fleabag”). 
2. Linguini, Colette and Remy. I bet you are already on board, but let me convince you anyway. First, this is a highly referenced movie, but so underutilized. Everyone will instantaneously recognize this costume, laugh and immediately feel inferior for not thinking of something so creative and original. Additionally, this costume is perfect for all the throuples out there; I know you three are looking for the perfect costume!
3. Lizzie McGuire and Gordo Gordon. Now this is one of my prize-winning ideas. One of you gets to dress up in your best early 2000s garb. The other gets to look like a dork, but in a sexy, hot way. This costume is great for the pair in which one of you is really peppy and well dressed, and the other has a wolf cut and gorgeous hair texture. Not only will this showcase everyone’s best looks, but it is so underground and unique that people will literally be throwing up, crying and punching walls at the party in a jealous rage.
