This past Saturday, February 22, The 2014 Global Studies Symposium brought together international scholars to discuss “work” as a global phenomenon. Keynote Speakers included Professor Sudharshan Seneviratne from the University of Peradeniya, Dr. Francois Venter from the University of Witwatersrand, Professor Kathi Weeks from Duke University, and Faculty respondents Professors Yuki Shigeto and Jen Cohen. The event was free and open to public.
