This past week was Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, so The Pioneer met with the Interfaith Coalition on Poverty to discuss their recent community events, where attendees could educate themselves on the ways these issues manifest locally. Then we chatted with several student volunteers at the women’s STEP shelter.
