Fresh off an exhilarating trip to Austin, the Pio Staff returns to the office to lay out and finalize Issue 9. Stay tuned for updates about the snacks, funny things I hear, and also a tiny bit about writing, editing, laying out, etc.

4:44 PM: Popsicles. This will be a nice evening.

5:27 PM: Dreams do come true in the Pio Office. Molly (one of our Production Associates) wanted Peanut Butter Oreos, and she got them.

5:41 PM: Copy editors have descended too early! They’re here to sign stipends and get paid…but haven’t been able to yet. This is probably the busiest the Pio Office has been! Wow! Super fun.

6:20 PM: The stipend group has given up. We’re now down to just a few people, one of whom is our sports editor Cole Anderson

7:52 PM: I have returned from dinner and now things will really pick up! The copy editors are here and immediately the noise level increases! Woohoo. We are in now in the final stages of production night, copy editing and final changes.

9:07 PM: We put together a nice survey for the Whitman community to fill out, and we’re almost done with the paper! Check it out tomorrow at noon!
