The Whitman College Orchestra presents their Fall Concert with a variety of pieces from the past two centuries, with some in and some outside the standard orchestral performance repertoire. This event is free and open to the public.

Whitman College Music Department welcomes Welsh baritone Jeremy Huw Williams, who will perform a recital that includes four duets by Morten Lauridsen, sung with Whitman professor Monica Hunter.

Come watch your peers compete with performances of classical Concertos or Arias. The selected winners will get the opportunity to perform next semester with full accompaniment.

 

Whitman College Music Department Presents the 3rd Annual Kaleidoscope Performance
Sunday, November 4 at 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. – Hunter Conservatory Foyer

A unique concert that defies description, the Kaleidoscope Concert (organized by Kristin Vining) gives Whitman and community performers the opportunity to play non-traditional music in a concert setting, with audiences surrounded by a continuous set of music. The theme for this year’s concert is “Dreams.”
