Students For Education Reform has had success bringing awareness to local education reform issues and educational reform as a whole on campus. Among their most recent projects was their first annual book drive, where they collected 438 books to donate to families and children in Walla Walla.
Renovations would extend the exterior wall to the grass line, creating more classroom space, indoor hallways, and less entry points to the school.

Community Debates Bond to Modernize Walla Walla High

A bond measure to delegate $69.6 million to renovate an aging Walla Walla High School has community members and school officials both advocating for the measure and debating its consequences. The bond, set for a special February 12 vote, would designate funds to update and restore Wa-Hi, a community institution built in 1963, to fit technological and classroom needs.
