Whitman athletics goes green

A little rain or frozen ground usually does not stop Whitman athletes from hitting the fields to kick around a soccer ball or toss a Frisbee. However, when athletes run on muddy fields, their concern is usually for the game, and not the turf.

Support of fans at Whitman add a lot to the performance of our sports teams. While the fan base is lacking in pizazz, this issue is being addressed by SAAC and others in the hopes of improving the support of our athletic community.
