As study abroad deadlines begin to loom larger on the horizon, members of the class of 2015 are in the process of deciding whether to study abroad and choosing an off-campus studies program. In previous years, students have been allowed to choose from about 40 different partner programs to study abroad with their junior year. However, for the first time, the class of 2015 will be able to choose from a list with double the number of programs offered.
Alumni of the Whitman in China program gather this weekend, Sep. 28—30, to celebrate the program’s 30-year anniversary. Since its creation in 1982, the program has been sending Whitman graduates to China to teach English for one year.
