Whitties with learning disabilities mentor elementary school students through art

Project Eye-to-Eye, a national organization that facilitates mentorship between adults and elementary school students with learning disabilities, is new to Whitman this fall. In the program, Whitties with learning disabilities are mentoring local fourth and fifth grade students with similar learning disabilities by creating art together.

Project Eye-to-Eye, a mentoring program for students with disabilities, is coming to Whitman next year. In this program, college students and elementary school students who are indentified as learning-disabled or ADHD work together on a different art project each week.
