Whitman students rejoiced in the recent snow flurries, using the white tundra of Ankney as a field for snowball fights and building snowmen. While the near foot of snow brought fun and games, Whitman’s Nordic Ski Team used it as a rare opportunity to get practice runs in around Ankney as they prepare for Division 3 Nationals in Lake Placid, New York.
