After a great season in which the women's tennis team made it to the national tournament last year, Whitman's women look to capitalize on the momentum to carry them even farther this season, while the men aim to build upon their tradition of regional success.
Last spring, the Whitman men's tennis team kept the dynasty rolling. The team swept through the Northwest Conference regular season undefeated en route to winning its fifth consecutive NWC title and ultimately rose to number eight in the nation.
This weekend, the men's tennis team will be hosting the ITA Northwest Regional Championships, which will span from the 24th to the 26th. This competition is the men's only chance to test their mettle against Northwest conference opponents before the longer spring season.
