NWC championships may soon involve final tournament

Men's and women's tennis are the first of potentially several sports to undergo changes in the NWC's postseason structure. Coaches from the soccer and baseball programs across the conference are looking into the addition of a conference championship tournament to conclude the regular season, which would provide the NWC's automatic qualifier bid to the NCAA tournament.

The senior thesis, required by most majors, is an arduous culmination of the Whitman education-- one final push towards the commencement cap and gown. Some might hand in their thesis and never think about it again. But for other seniors, the thesis becomes more than just a space-filler in the Allen Reading Room.

Alpine skiing bands togehter, finds success with club program

The Whitman alpine skiers are among the most intense, committed athletes representing the Whitman community - and they're not even a varsity sport. This club team prides itself on competing hard and improving day, and will continue to work towards representing Whitman on a national level as their season begins.
