Tim Reed Elected ASWC President, 2013-14 Executive Council Announced

Sophomore Tim Reed was announced as next year's ASWC President 8 p.m. Monday night, April 8, with 61.3% of the vote. Junior Rania Mussia was elected Nominations Chair, beating out first year Allison Kelly in a close race with 54.2% of the vote.

ASWC must improve spaces for engagement

Making effective, and necessary, changes to the way ASWC handles student engagement will be difficult and will take time. But they will do wonders for improving the health of student government, and the Whitman community, in the long run.
