Last weekend representatives from the two parties met in Boston to discuss the relationship between numbers and sports. I mingled with team owners, statisticians, coaches, athletes, students and even TV personalities and listened to discussions such as “A Data-driven method for In-game Decision Making in MLB†and “The Changing Nature of Media Rights.â€
