By the start of the 2015-2016 school year, Whitman will inaugurate its 14th president. The college is about to begin the search for President George Bridges's successor with the newly formed search committee.

It's ball season in Vienna. During January and February many Viennese - and tourists - don their best evening attire and dance the night away at a beautiful location until the wee hours of the morning....

The graduating class of 2014 has 97 Biology majors, the highest number of graduates in one discipline ever to graduate from Whitman College. The faculty has had to adjust, making short term and long term plans in order to manage the rapidly growing department.
