The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning for the evening of October 13 from 2pm to 11pm in Walla Walla County and the surrounding area. West winds are expected to hit 30-40 mph with gusts of 60-65 mph.  

In an email to the Whitman Community, Peter Harvey urged students to “take the necessary precautions ahead of the storm such as making sure you have a working flashlight.  You also may want to make sure your devices are charged in case you lose power.”
