Associate Professor of Politics Aaron Bobrow-Strain lectured at the Walla Walla Public Library on Nov. 7 as part of the “Big Idea” lecture series. The lecture was titled “The Future of Food” and focused on Walla Walla’s unique agricultural position in the global food system. Some of the topics he discussed included the growing population, availability of resources and questions of sustainable agricultural development. He lectured to an attentive crowd of students and community members interested in Walla Walla’s place in the larger political and economic landscape.
