Reflections of living in an uncertain time

Open Mic NightRobin Lewis (’11) closes Wednesday night’s open mic with a reading of Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax. The open mic was one of the many educational lectures and events that occurred throughout the week as part of Whitman’s second annual National Teach-In on global climate change and sustainability. Organized by Campus Climate Challenge, the Teach-In closes tonight with keynote speaker Dr. John Fyfe’s public address “The Science of Global Climate Change” at 7 p.m. in Maxey Auditorium. Fyfe, a professor at the University of British Columbia, is also a senior research scientist for the Canadian Centre for Climate Modeling and Analysis.
