Around 2:00 p.m. today, red paint was discovered splashed across Reid Campus Center at Whitman College, followed by chalk messages surrounding the building. Phrases such as “People over Profit” were seen before being washed away. Some red paint remains visible on parts of the building.
The incident occurred during Spring Into Whitman, an annual event welcoming prospective students.
