- Whitman’s page on online learning resources for students: Information on printing on campus, STEM hub, technology help and textbook resources.
- ARC peer tutoring: ARC Peer Tutors provide one-on-one help for a variety of subjects. All sessions are free and one-hour long. The tutors’ goals are to help students improve understanding of course material and to prepare for exams.
- COWS: The Center fOr Writing and Speaking will be offering tutoring on writing assignments online both synchronously and asynchronously.
- Remote access to resources and services to Penrose: The library staff has worked hard to make digital resources available and librarians are also available via email and chat to answer your questions. The chat function is staffed seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Khan Academy
- Girls Who Code: Computer science educational activities available for download free of charge.
- Free academic resources during the pandemic: Many publishers are making their resources available for free for the remainder of the semester, including Kanopy, JSTOR and EBSCO eBook Comprehensive Academic Collection.

- Free e-book access (through May 25)
- Coursera: Free access for any impacted college or university. Of note, Yale University’s popular “happiness” course, The Science of Well-Being, is one course available for free through Coursera.
- Printing: The Whitman College Print Shop can fulfill students’ printing needs. If you need something printed Monday through Friday, fill out this form before noon and choose a pickup time between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. that same day. Pickup will happen at Boyer House (34 Boyer Ave., across from the Walla Walla Sub Shop)
