Alpha Phi seeks to build on success with Red Dress Gala

Alpha Phi’s third annual Red Dress Gala, a silent auction and social event, will take place this Friday at Main Street Studios. Half of the proceeds of the evening will go to the Alpha Phi Foundation, which supports women’s heart health and women’s leadership, while the other half will go to Trilogy, a local organization that supports children whose lives are affected by substance abuse.

Nov. 1st marks this year's Mr. Whitman, the annual male beauty pageant hosted by the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. The event is fundraising and raising awareness for Trilogy Recovery Community, a local nonprofit group for adolescents struggling with addiction.

The Trilogy recovery community is a nonprofit dedicated to helping youth and families who are struggling with drug addiction. Under the guidance of executive director Kathy Ketcham, volunteers at Trilogy use a peer-based approach to address alcohol and drug problems in the community.
