Sheehan Gallery Prepares to Open Mokuhanga Exhibit

Creating art can take a lot of time and effort, but putting together a collection of art can take just as long. The Abstract American Mokuhanga exhibit at the Sheehan Gallery, opening next Wednesday, Feb. 19, has been years in the making.
This past semester at Whitman, I studied not only Japanese language, but also chanoyu (tea ceremony) and Japanese Art and Aesthetics. Here I am dressed in kimono for a chanoyu demonstration.
