The Whitman women's soccer team crossed the Atlantic this August for an international preseason trip to England, where the team played eight games in three weeks while gaining valuable experience and building a team identity for the upcoming season.

NWC championships may soon involve final tournament

Men's and women's tennis are the first of potentially several sports to undergo changes in the NWC's postseason structure. Coaches from the soccer and baseball programs across the conference are looking into the addition of a conference championship tournament to conclude the regular season, which would provide the NWC's automatic qualifier bid to the NCAA tournament.

W Club golf tournament fosters connections, competition

The second annual W Club Golf Tournament brought together alumni, parents, coaches and current Whitties in the spirit of friendly competition to encourage connections throughout the Whitman community, as well as raise money for the Whitman varsity athletics programs.

The month of February has seen an uproar in Whitman College spirit, as the Whitman men's basketball team marched to a regular season win over #1-ranked Whitworth and playoff victory over Lewis & Clark, before falling to Whitworth in the NWC championship game in Spokane. Reflecting on three of the biggest games in Whitman basketball history, this is the view from the student section.
