Cyclists post podium finishes at annual Whitman Bike Race

Coming off an 09-10 season that ended in a team national championship, the Whitman cycling team looks to build on that success and work towards a repeat. The Whitman Bike Race, held this past weekend, helped bring the Missionaries one step closer to that goal, as the team moved into second place overall in the team conference standings.

Women’s lacrosse poised to break into championship tournament

For the Whitman women's lacrosse team, it doesn't matter if they are playing fellow Division III teams or nationally ranked Division I programs - competition is competition. The team is doing more than just holding their own in the Northwest Women's Lacrosse League, as it is sitting in fourth place looking at a chance to make the championship tournament hosted here at Whitman.

The month of February has seen an uproar in Whitman College spirit, as the Whitman men's basketball team marched to a regular season win over #1-ranked Whitworth and playoff victory over Lewis & Clark, before falling to Whitworth in the NWC championship game in Spokane. Reflecting on three of the biggest games in Whitman basketball history, this is the view from the student section.
