Spirits are high after the ASWC by-law amendment was passed on Sunday, giving us (the writers of “formerly known as the Pioneer”) full jurisdiction over changing our name! Now the real fun begins: coming up with new names!

We were visited by a source of inspiration today, “The Collegian,” Walla Walla University’s campus newspaper. Their Feature editor and Backpage writer echoed popular sentiments about the differences between Walla Walla University and Whitman, though there was nothing divisive about our collaboration in the office today.

5:15 pm: Politically active Anthony makes sure to note his contributions to surveys on new faces for American bills.

5:32 pm: “One of my residents sent me a snapchat of a fetal pig saying ‘we named it Alexander HAMilton,'” said Jessi “did you know I love Hamilton the Musical” Anderson.

5:35 pm: Anthony pulls out the “bible,” or the APA Style guide. Various comments about Rachel “Executive Bummer” Needham in her absence. (Only good things, Rachel, don’t worry!)
