ACCESS TO FOOD

Are there places where I can get food if I cannot afford it right now?

On campus, the food pantry in the Glover Alston Center will be available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. with swipe access for the rest of the semester. The food pantry will be regularly restocked throughout each week.

Off campus, the Blue Mountain Action Council (BMAC) offers food assistance to low-income households at the BMAC Food Bank. Drive-through mobile food banks will operate each Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 921 W. Cherry St. Students who are still in town and struggling with food can also reach out to Walla Walla Mutual Aid Network for a $50 grocery gift card or $50 prepaid Visa card for whatever they need. Contact them at [email protected] or (509) 300-1102.
