Cole Anderson February 25, 2013

Boobs Don’t Belong Here

Riley Foreman February 21, 2013
Put your imagination to rest if you are reading the latest Sports Illustrated issue. You won’t need it. The annual “Swimsuit Edition” released earlier this month showcases much more skin than suits. The coveted cover features Kate Upton posing in in a winter coat and bikini bottoms, with her swimsuit top quite obviously omitted. Wa-Hi Bond Fails, “No Plan B” in Sight

Sarah Cornett February 21, 2013
After months of tenuous debate, the bond to renovate Walla Walla High School failed last Tuesday. The bond would have provided funds to modernize Wa-Hi, an institution built in 1963. The building retains most of its original structures, and the renovations would have included updating the science labs and adding interior hallways to promote security.

New Program Preps Future Educators

Daniel Kim February 21, 2013
On Tuesday, February 19, 2013, the Whitman’s pre-advising program held their very first municipal dinner event. The idea behind the networking dinner was to have students who are interested in education to have the opportunity to meet expert educators from the Walla Walla area. It was a chance for the Walla Walla educators and Whitman students to come together at this dinner and build that bridge so that Walla Walla educators can see how Whitman students are involved with education.
