Admitted Students’ Day offers slice of Whitman experience

About 205 admitted students, along with 200 of their parents, got a taste of life at Whitman during Admitted Students� Day on Saturday, April 14. The day included such activities as sample classes, a mock Humans vs. Zombies mission, a tour of residence halls and an opportunity to learn about programs such as community service and off-campus studies.

Sweets at Sectionals in Burlington

The Whitman College Sweets travelled to Burlington WA last weekend to attend their first tournament of the year. Of the 8 teams in attendance the Sweets were the only college team. Fun, first-years invigorate fall UItimate season

As happens every fall, a flurry of color, yelling and fun has enveloped Ankeny Field. It can mean only one thing: Ultimate Frisbee is back. The men and women's teams return to action, preparing for an extremely important fall season. The team must address the issue of keeping practice focused to develop a large group of new players, while keeping the atmosphere light and fun. Not an easy task.
