Despite it's small size, Whitman's Model United Nations club has won national recognition recently. Three members attended the National Model United Nations conference and won two substantial awards: Delegate’s Choice Award and Outstanding Delegation.

Whitman Model United Nations club will travel to Los Angeles April 19-22 for a crisis focused conference hosted by Model United Nations at the University California, Los Angeles. The conference in Los Angeles comes with a high price tag for the club and ASWC. Attending conferences, the major activity of WhitMUN, requires a large budget. This year, the club’s budget is $5,231 and the club has received $5,734 from the Travel and Student Development Fund (T&SD), receiving a total of $10,940 from ASWC.
