The annual candlelit peace march down Main Street to commemorate the life and message of Martin Luther King, Jr., drew about fifty Whitman and Walla Walla community members this year on Monday, Jan. 21. Pioneer videographer Skye Vander Laan transports us into the crowd and shares the voices of two women continuing the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. today––Heidi Treacy and Whitman sophomore Alisha Agard.
