ASWC had its first senate meeting of the semester last Sunday, Oct 6. Agenda items included allocation of $2,000 for an outdoor trip, confirmation of a new vice president, and new appointees to the nominations and oversight committees.

Rimmy Doowa '12 might best be remembered at Whitman as the small girl with the huge voice in Schwa and Whitman band, Dabbles in Bloom. But since she graduated, Doowa's found a lot of success overseas in Thailand. Currently a contestant on Thailand's The Voice, Doowa is making music and living her dream of becoming a professional musician.
While DIII athletics lack the prestige of the DI level, Whitman coaches are able to draw players by emphasizing the academics, atmosphere, and balance of the college.
